In idyllic Monterey surroundings, visionary artist Kathy has created more than a studio — she has built a space where artistry, mentorship, and community come alive. This summer, she opens her studio doors to young creators ready to explore the extraordinary world of fine glass.

Students ages 13-16

  • 2 sessions: Monday, June 15-Friday, June 19 and Monday, July 27-Friday, July 31

  • Camp day runs from 9am - 4pm, with ample time for lunch.

  • Students will learn the fundamentals of glasswork and create 4 projects: A cast hand, a fused dish, a stained glass project and make beads or a glass straw through torchwork.

  • Campers will:

    • Learn foundational glass art techniques

    • Create their own unique glass pieces

    • Collaborate on group projects

    • Develop patience, focus, and artistic confidence

    • Experience the joy of working with light, color, and texture

About Kathy Little, Artist/Instructor

Under Kathy’s expert instruction, campers are not just students — they are emerging artists.

With years of experience and a deep passion for fine glass, Kathy gently guides each child through the artistic process, helping them build skills, confidence, and pride in their work. Her studio is a place where questions are welcomed, curiosity is celebrated, and creativity is nurtured.

Students ages 9-12

  • 2 sessions: Monday, June 29 - Friday July 3 and Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17

  • Camp day runs from 9am - 3pm, with ample time for lunch.

  • Students will learn the fundamentals of glasswork and create 3 projects: a mosaic stepping stone, a stained glass nightlight, and a fused dish.

  • Campers will:

    • Learn foundational glass art techniques

    • Create their own unique glass pieces

    • Collaborate on group projects

    • Develop patience, focus, and artistic confidence

    • Experience the joy of working with light, color, and texture
